Prizefighter's Real Knockout: Bria Myles Q&A

I put this in bold so that your eyes would come down from the image below. Now, that I have your attention... The beautiful vixen above is Bria Myles. The 23-year-old video veteran has let her chocolatey skin grace the pages of KING, XXL and Black Men's magazines. But the California native can add another credit to her resume -- video game character.

Appearing as herself in 2K Sports newest title, Don King Presents: Prizefighter, Myles is sweeter than chocolate, thicker than a Snickers bar and be sure to watch out for that mean left hook. The Urban Daily sits down with this current S.A.G. cardholder as she talks about her work in Prizefighter, why she doesn't care for R. Kelly and explains why Reggie Bush just doesn't like black women.

The Urban Daily: Last time I rapped with you was before your appearance in the November issue of XXL. What have you been doing, leading up to your appearance in Prizefighter?

Bria Myles: I’ve been really busy since then. I have been doing more and more photo shoots lately. I did a few music videos. I was in Chingy’s “Dem Jeans” video, in an Omarion video, umm… I was in Small World’s “Celebrity Chick” video. I don’t really remember the rest of the videos I’ve done. After we did our first interview, I had got a job working at a PR firm. I couldn’t really accept as many jobs as I would’ve liked or wanted to because I was working a full-time gig. I was focused on that rather than being a model. But I was blessed to be able to be associated with Prizefighter.

TUD: Prizefighter is a really tough game. Are you one of those girls who get turned on by those type of violent thug guys?

BM: No. [Laughs] I do feel like I should have someone who loves me and wants to protect me. But I did the “thug” thing when I was younger and I’m past that. It wasn’t all of what it was cracked up to be, you know?

TUD: So, how did it feel doing the motion capture work for the game?

BM: Man… [laughs] It felt really good to do that, but weird at the same time. It was weird because they had to take pictures of my body at different angles. [Laughs] I was actually nervous when I had to do the speaking parts for the game. Other than that, I wasn’t really nervous about anything else. It took about three or four hours of my time and I made about 2 G’s for doing some really fun stuff. The game is out now and I hope that everyone enjoys it. I’m happy that I got SAG [Screen Actor’s Guild] card out of it. Now, I can focus on getting more roles and showing off more of my talent.

TUD: That’s always good news… Speaking of good news, R. Kelly definitely received some when a jury of his peers felt that he was "not guilty." Was that the right thing to do?

BM: I could care less about R. Kelly and that whole situation. Honestly, the whole thing was ignorant. Dave [Chappelle] and The Boondocks were telling the truth from the jump when they talked about R. Kelly. I love both of those shows, by the way, they’re both amazing. Chappelle needs to come back [laughs]! I really never got into all the hype about what was going with R. Kelly or his case. I didn’t follow it. That type of thing doesn’t really make me or keep my interests…

TUD: Well, if it’s okay for a grown man to sex a young girl, are you eyeing some Reggie Bush-types for yourself?

BM: [Laughs] No… I’m pretty sure that Reggie doesn’t want me. Reggie Bush does not even like black girls… especially a dark-skinned black, big booty girl [laughs].

TUD: What about Kim Kardashian? She got a big booty…

BM: It’s just big to folks because she’s not black. She’s cute and all, but I guess whatever you’re into should work for you, right. I don’t think she’d work for me if I was a guy, though. I’m not really into young guys. Chris Brown is really cute, but I’m not eyeing the young guys.

TUD: I guess you need an Obama man to handle someone such as yourself, huh?

BM: [Laughs] Yeah! Honestly, man… I don’t even like anyone, right now. I’m just focused on handling my business. I haven’t really found anyone that I “like.” I don’t have any celebrity crushes, hell… I don’t have any regular people crushes, if you want to say it like that. I have my attractions, like anyone else, but I’m not trying to date anyone.

TUD: How important is it for everyone to go out there and vote in this year’s election?

BM: Oh, my gosh! It’s really important… So very important! I actually voted during the California primary and it was such a beautiful thing. I believe it’s important that we make history here in the U.S. Obama’s reach is so widespread and people are overflowing with a hope and optimism very rarely seen nowadays. I was at an airport in Chicago and I saw an old white man with an Obama t-shirt, it was funny, but you know – interesting to say the least. Then I had went past this Urban Outfitters store and my mouth dropped. You know how that store caters to young white people, right? Well, they had shirts in there with Obama’s face on it and it said, “Obama For Ya Momma” and I was really impressed. I think that he will be our new president if we support; if we come out and vote. [George] Bush bought his seat in the White House and that showed how much those who really want it will go through to get it. All we can do is our part. What happens when it gets higher than that is not up to us.

TUD: Your pictures are always an eye catcher, but if you had to say one song that describes you that would catch someone’s ear – what would it be and why?

BM: That’s a great question. A song that describes me would be… Hmm… I’d say that it would be Ne-Yo’s “Sexy Love.” What he says in the song, ‘Sexy love, girl the things you do/Keep me sprung, keep me runnin’ back to you/Oh, I love/Making love to you/Baby girl, you know, you’re my sexy love…’ I think that that fits me to a tee. When I’m dating a guy, we just like each other a lot! I’m really nice. Most people think that I am a rude person or something, but in the end, I think that everyone has their own type that they like.
